Important Safety Notice
New pool and spa barrier laws came into effect on 1 December 2019 in Victoria to improve safety. These laws introduced new registration, inspection, and certification requirements for property owners.

As part of these changes, owners are required to register their pool or spa with their local council and have the safety barrier inspected every four years.

Any residential pool or spa in Victoria with a depth of 30 cm (300 mm) or more must be surrounded by a safety barrier, including inflatable pools.
