Important Note:
This pump can be used to create a fountain or to pump water up a water feature. Indicated flow rate is at ground level. If you use a hose attachment to push water up a water feature, flow rate will be reduced. Always choose a pump that has a maximum lift height at least 50% higher than your water feature.

How to Choose the Right Size Water Feature or Pond Pump:

We recommend calculating the water volume of your pond or water feature and choosing a pump that matches that volume. If you are aiming for a specific cascade effect, fill a known-size bucket with water and pour it out at the desired rate. For example, if you empty a 10-litre bucket in 30 seconds, you will need a pump that moves 20 litres per minute or 1,200 litres per hour.

If pushing water up multiple levels (e.g., 1.0m), add another 50% to the water volume. For a 1.0m upper level, purchase a pump with a 1.5m head pressure to ensure adequate flow.

Guides:

• Small indoor wall or table fountains: 200-300 L/Hr.
• Small – Medium statue or multi-level up to 800mm high: 400-750 L/Hr.
• Large features up to 1.5m high: 1,000-2,000 L/Hr.
